• Graduated from Towson State University, also attended mortuary program in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Began his career at Danzansky Goldberg, a few months later the Goldberg family decided to sell their interest in the company.
• With the help of the Shulman Rogers group, Edward was founded Edward Sagel Funeral Direction in 1994.
• In 2014 Edward was given the opportunity to purchase both Danzansky Goldberg and Sagel Funeral Direction.

• Managed two family operated Jewish Funeral Home locations in New Jersey.
• Co-purchased Edward Sagel Funeral Direction and Danzansky Goldberg Memorial Chapels in 2014.
• Al is a board member of JCRC of Greater Washington and a member of Bender JCC of Greater Washington.
• While working in New Jersey Al began to offer memorials and monuments which has now become its own monument division.
